Programs, Schedule & Fees

PTEK offers a structured mathematics tuition programme designed to support academic improvement, independent learning, and personal growth.

Our programme combines focused subject teaching with mentoring, guided study routines, and project-based learning, delivered in a calm and supportive environment.

Our Programme Offering

PTEK is licensed to offer Mathematics tuition, and mathematics is the core subject taught and assessed at the centre.

  • Mathematics aligned with the Malaysian secondary school syllabus
  • Clear learning goals and structured practice
  • Regular progress monitoring

Mathematics also serves as the foundation for teaching students how to study effectively and think clearly across subjects.

Who Our Programme Is For

PTEK is suitable for students who benefit from structure, guidance, and personal attention in their learning.

  • Students who want stronger foundations in mathematics
  • Students who need accountability and focus
  • Students who wish to learn more effectively with guidance

The programme is also suitable for students who want to develop confidence, communication skills, and responsible learning habits.

Student Age Group & Placement

PTEK serves students aged 13 to 17, typically from Form 1 to Form 5 in the Malaysian education system.

  • Students are grouped into cohorts that mirror their form level
  • Buddy pairs and teams reflect similar academic stages
  • Placement is based on readiness and learning needs

This ensures appropriate pacing, comfort, and support for every student.

Programme Structure

  • Individual self-study in personal cubicles
  • Individual and pair micro-mentoring
  • Small-group discussions
  • Weekly cohort presentations
  • Individual and team projects

This structure balances independent practice, guidance, and collaboration.

Student Motivation & Learning Engagement

Sustained learning requires motivation and clear progress.

  • Learning tasks are broken into manageable milestones
  • Progress and effort are recognised
  • Reflection is encouraged throughout the learning process
  • Students are guided to take ownership of their learning

This structured motivation framework helps students stay engaged while maintaining discipline and focus.

Role-Based Project Learning

As part of the programme, students complete individual and team projects every quarter.

Some projects are introduced through guided role-based scenarios, where students investigate topics, analyse situations, and present findings.

  • Age-appropriate roles such as observer, investigator, or reporter
  • Structured scenarios with clear learning objectives
  • Mentor guidance throughout each project

This approach makes learning meaningful while reinforcing academic discipline.

Learning Identity & Responsible Use of Technology

To support reflective learning and protect student privacy, PTEK uses a learning identity framework during project work.

  • Students use structured learning identities for educational platforms
  • Dedicated email accounts are used for learning tools
  • Projects are often approached from a third-person perspective

This creates a clear boundary between personal online activity and structured academic learning.

Medium of Instruction

PTEK uses English as the primary medium of instruction.

  • Supports effective use of AI learning tools
  • Strengthens reasoning and explanation skills
  • Helps students improve English communication naturally
